Grief Group

GriefShare is a nondenominational program of friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. The focus is to help coping with grief after the funeral when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, when most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone and isolated. Often, friends and family want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and worked through the process to rebuild their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief. There are 3 key parts to your GriefShare experience:

∙ Video Seminar: Encouraging, information-packed videos featuring leading grief recovery experts

∙ Support Group: Small group discussion about the video content

∙ Workbook: Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce each session

Bayonne Chamber of Commerce

We continue to be involved in the life of the Bayonne community as members of the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce and, as an active participant in the events and programs of the Chamber, we provide the leadership and participation in the community that is essential in building the larger community of Bayonne!

H.I.G.H.W.A.Y.S. Food Pantry

Our partner parish, Trinity Episcopal Church in Bergen Point, runs one of the few food pantries in Bayonne. Each Sunday members of Grace Lutheran collect non-perishables to support this program, besides the ways in which our social ministry boutique, Gra18ce Sale, continues to assist this ministry, serving the most fragile and vulnerable of our community.
